Name Giving  Ceremonies

Thankyou for considering me to conduct the Naming Ceremony for your precious child.

I am able to provide you with an extensive ideas booklet  to consider for the Ceremony. I also have many suitable poems and readings .  Of course these are only options for you to consider.  If you have any poems, readings , etc, please feel free to discuss them  with me.  I can then offer a Ceremony based on the things you choose.  As  there are no guarantees, how events may unfold when small children are involved,  please be assured there will be no rush to complete the elements of the ceremony .    Also as there will be children of your guests at the Service, rest assured that if there are any disruptions, they will be handled calmly  and professionally.  We will wait until the child or childrens needs are met before proceeding. 

The most important thing is to enjoy your ceremony.  It should be a  relaxed and happy event, and I will do all I can to ensure that the preparation and delivery goes as smoothly as possible.

Let me know if you have any concerns or special requirements.  Please consider anyone whom you would like to be involved in the Ceremony, and the role they will play.  Godparents, Mentors and Grandparents all are special people in your childs life.  You may like to consider how best they are able to be included.

 

Safety

It is important to ensure that all normal parent/child safety procedures are adhered to.

In relation to Candlelight, please ensure that a suitable candleholder is used, which recesses the candle out of reach of tiny fingers.

As a practicing and professional celebrant, I am trusted with the private information of many people. The Privacy Act protects your information.

I keep it in a locked facility in my home.
